Jane Moody has been massaging with a passion since the age of five and brings twenty-two years of professional experience to The Wave. Trained at the Toa Healing Arts in southern California, she also gained first hand experience through a year and a half apprenticeship with Utta specializing in maternity massage and body sculpting. Jane has worked in most major spas and resorts in the Palm Desert/Palm Springs area including Hyatt Grand Champion Resort and Spa and La Quinta Resort and Spa. Jane brings additional experience in Sport and Deep Tissue massage, having been a competitive and professional ice skater for 35 years. Jane is excited to be at The Wave where she can also be seen teaching swimming, water aerobics classes and kid's fitness camps.

| Cate graduated from the International Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2001 with a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine. Her education included an internship at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque doing therapeutic massaeg and acupuncture for patients in their rooms. |

After having earned National Certification in both acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, as well as having passed the New Mexico state exam, she received the legal title of Doctor of Oriental Medicine. She practiced in Albuquerque, Corrales, Placitas and Bernalillo both on her own and in conjunction with other healthcare professionals and modalities.
She moved to Montana in 2005 and is continuing service as a Licensed Acupunctionist in Kalispell and massage therapist at The Wave. She has over 19 years experience in massage and has treated patients with many different types of imbalances and injury induced pain.
She is also a writer, having published several articles explaining Eastern Medical theory and practice, as well as how it can be integrated with Western thinking.
Other interests include art, music, dance, walks with her dog and periods of solitude in nature. |
